Sergio 'The Latin Snake' Mora was crowned as The Contender on 24th May 2005 after fighting a tought 7 rounds match with Peter Manfredo Jr.I wrote in my blog earlier that i really like Sergio coz he's a smart guy and vary good boxer and he really proved it in the final match. Altho Peter was the favourite in the final match, Sergio managed to fightback with a mental game and nice combinations.Peter was throwing more solid and powerful punches in the early rounds but after round 4,it was Sergio's turn to release powerful combination and uppercuts while maintaining his speed against the tired Manfredo.Sergio Mora really did it and he's the only boxer out of 16 who never have to hang his glove thruout the episodes.Kudos too to Alfonso Gomez who has beaten Jesse Brinkley for the Bronze Medal.Altho it's a close fight but Fonso was clearly doing better than Jesse.He's my second fav to Sergio with his humble attitude but powerful combinations.
