PVC pipes and plumbing skill
New guy moved into my place last week...a designer and now that he's using what used to be my storage room, i have to move all the things inside there sumwhere...what i did was moving all those stuff (lots of empty boxes but till this very moment i'm not very sure why the fuck do i keep those!!) to the kitchen space temporarily (i'm yet to have my own kitchen...so basically just plain water for visitors). Then i decided that i'm gonna put all those things at the back (along with my washing machine) but the prob is...i need to do some pipework coz the idiot who designed the place fixed the tap on one wall and the electric socket + hole for dirty water on the other end of space (to give u guys a mental picture...imagine a washing machine rite in the middle of the space between all the 4 walls...weird huh??)
As usual when it comes to situation like that, the 1st thing that i did was callin up my 'One Stop Solution/ Crisis Management Centre' a.k.a my dad...got a few tips(which components to use/tools etc coz he's a genius in plumbing). Next I went to hardware store and bought the things needed...got back home and start workin on it...but being a rookie (who really suck at plumbing)..i needed to go back to the hardware store 3 times (ok...i know it's embarrassing) for miscalculating the pipe length and forgot about a few parts needed...at the end of the day, i finished the job...and it looks great (plus it works) and my housemates admired the result...but if my dad were to supervise me while doin it, i'm quite sure he's gonna say "ishhh, camna nie...potong paip pun senget" (sorry dad...i know you are very particular bout that...but i'm not :P)...kinda proud i managed to finish the whole designing and doin the work (ok...it's easy peasy for pro but i'm just rookie la)...but the most important thing is that...at the rate i'm doin thing...it'll take me 100 years to match my dad's....horrible!!
